Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year Marshall Elementary Dolphins!

Dolphin Families,

We are so excited to begin the SY24 school year with you and our scholars. Our theme for this year is “The Grand Re-Opening” of Marshall Elementary. We are focused on capital projects to enhance our existing building as well as fostering a focus on our scholars’ academic growth. As welcome new students and staff members, I am very excited for the school community to meet our new staff members. Please join us August 15th to meet our new Assistant Principal Ms. Brandi Campbell and learn more about focus for this school year.

Take a moment and review our District policy on Attendance and Truancy. We will be focused on our students arriving on time to school and being present. School attendance is key to our scholar’s achievement.

Also, take a moment to review our new Uniform Policy.  Students can now wear polo shirts in the colors of their attending schools, with no logo, print, or embroidery. Bottoms can be worn in any color, including jeans, with no rips, or tears. Leggings and jeggings are prohibited. Shoes must have enclosed heels and must be fastened and tied properly. No sandals, flip flops or croc-style shoes will be permitted. White polo shirts and black bottoms are still accepted in all schools.

Finally, please note that our HVAC system and hallway lighting has been upgraded this summer. This is part of our two summer phases of updates to the building. Our flexible seating will be installed before school starts and we will have new classroom and school signage up in the building to complement our digital marquee. Next summer new floors will be installed throughout the building.

Thank you all for your commitment to your scholars and our school community. We are very excited for this school year.

Sincerely,

Dr. Jeremy
